Are guys shy about showering together?

I’m not sure how do you use to shower after your gym workout or your swim, maybe your lockerroom has separate shower cabins. In my gym locker room there are two rows of open shower cabins with no doors: I think this is the balance between my voyeuristic attitude and a protection if I get an unexpected hardon, lol! But I know that many gyms, swimming pool or football team lockerrooms have open shower rooms where guys wash all together. I believe that I could never take a shower in those open spaces… What about you?
